Asia’s premier fresh fruit and vegetable trade show returns to AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on 6-8 September 2023
Asia Fruit Logistica has made the strategic decision to return to Hong Kong, its long-established location, in 2023, the organisers have announced.
Asia’s premier fresh produce trade show will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo on 6-8 September 2023, bringing together leading players from across the global fresh fruit and vegetable industry and throughout the value chain, according to a media release from Global Produce Events (GPE).
Asia Fruit Logistica will be held together with Asiafruit Congress, Asia’s longest-running fresh produce business conference, where expert speakers share high-level insights on the key topics and trends in the trade.
“We’re delighted that Asia Fruit Logistica 2023 is heading back to Hong Kong,” said David Axiotis, managing director of organiser Global Produce Events (HK) Co.
“We have missed Hong Kong for its unrivalled efficiency, connectivity, ease of doing business, favourable trading policies and dynamic market. Most importantly, it’s strategically situated in the heart of Asia and the gateway to mainland China.”
“It’s exciting to return and see first-hand the city’s new future-proof developments of infrastructure and venues, as well as explore the enormous business opportunities brought by the Greater Bay Area, which includes Macao and nine cities in Guangdong Province.”
Hong Kong has relaxed its Covid entry rules and is ready to welcome the world’s travellers, with no requirement for international travellers to undergo hotel quarantine, GPE noted. Inbound travellers from China and Macao can also enter Hong Kong with no need for an advance application or PCR test before arrival. More information on the latest entry rules and updates is available here.
“Preparations are well under way for Asia Fruit Logistica 2023, with exhibitor online registration set to open soon,” said GPE. “Save the dates for 2023 and get ready to join Asia’s biggest gathering of the global fresh fruit and vegetable business on 6-8 September 2023 in Hong Kong.”
