Citrus Australia's current quality and market information manager Nathan Hancock will step up as the new CEO of the industry body at the end of the year.
Hancock will succeed Judith Damiani, who's stepping down after almost a decade in the role.
Bringing a wealth of citrus and agriculture expertise, Hancock worked as an agronomist and merchandise manager in Western Australia before joining the Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia as an industry development officer. He joined the Citrus Australia team almost seven years ago.
“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of leading Citrus Australia during this exciting time of growth in the industry and am grateful for the solid foundation Judith has laid,' Hancock said. 'Judith has led the industry through some very tough periods, I admire and respect her leadership.”
