Woolworths has revamped its Click & Collect service as 'Pick Up', allowing customers to order online and pick up their groceries in store.

The leading Australian retailer is now providing the service nationally at 670 stores, seven days a week.

On top of the Pick Up service, Woolworth is also rolling out ‘Drive Up’ and 'Drive Thru’ services, with remote lockers and designated parking bays allowing customers to have their groceries delivered to them at select locations.

Lisia Roth, Woolworths head of online operations, said the retailer will be providing these services across remote regional towns as well as its metro stores.

“We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to make shopping easier for our customers,” Roth said. “With the addition in just one month of over 670 stores as online shopping collection points, we are now providing additional convenience for customers in all corners of the country.”

The groceries are picked in-store by Woolworths staff, with customers able to track orders via the Woolworths app.

“Not only do customers want ultra-convenience and personalisation, they also want the experience to be painless and seamless,” Roth added.

“Currently each store has a set number ofPick Uporders available for customers per day. As more and more customers start using the service we will monitor the performance, available collection windows and capacity, and customer feedback to ensurePick Upis the best possible experience for every user.'
