Premier Group chief executive Anthony Di Pietro said company is privileged to gain the experience and proven leadership Smith’s appointment will bring to the board.
“We are extremely pleased to have someone of Kerry’s calibre chair our board and counsel Premier in our new era. Kerry’s history as part of a family-owned company and experience in leading its journey of growth, ideally positions her to support Premier into the future,” said Di Pietro.
“With Kerry at the helm, Premier will continue to forge ahead with our ongoing commitment to delivering service excellence and the stability that all our stakeholders, grower partners, and customers, rely on.”
Smith expressed humility and enthusiasm in response to the appointment.
