Peter McGregor has joined the board of Australia grower-distributorNutrano as an independent non-executive director.
The current CEO of Melbourne-based procurement and payments technology business Think Holdings brings more than 25 years’ experience in business, ranging from investment banking to agribusiness.
McGregor also sits on the board of the Brisbane Lions club, is a former chair of the Port of Geelong and a former director of Melbourne, Gold Coast and Darwin airports.
Nutrano chairman Richard England said McGregor would be an invaluable member to the team as Nutrano looked to further consolidate and grow its business, which now encompasses more than 1,000ha of fresh produce farms and a portfolio of brands.
The company was established in early 2016 after acquiring the banana business of Oakville, and has since become a leading player in citrus following theacquisition of Seven Fields and Abbotsleigh Citrus.
