Nutrano Group have appointed Pierre van Rensburg as responsible for the company’s citrus farming operations in Mildura. This includes the recently acquired Nangiloc Colignan Farms orchards.
Van Rensburg will report to executive general manager – Southern farming, Richard Byllaardt.
He will commence the role on August 1, and brings over 25 years’ global experience in management roles within the horticulture industry. He has worked on operations in South Africa, the US and locally within Australia.
“Pierre will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all Nutrano’s Sunraysia farming operations and will lead our dedicated team of farming staff to enhance our agricultural innovation, orchard productivity and citrus quality in coming years,” said Nutrano managing director and CEO, Steven Chaur.
Most recently, van Rensburg was managing over 30,000 acres of almond farms for Olam in the Sunraysia region, and prior to this worked with Wonderful Citrus in California as director of farming operations.
