Ashlee Kilmartin has joined Nutrano Produce Group as general manager of marketing and category development for the Sydney-headquartered company.
Kilmartin joined Nutrano in the full time position on 7 November, bringing broad experience in Australasia’s fresh produce industry, managing brands and trademarks such as Batlow apples, Sumo mandarins, Kumato tomatoes, and Eureka blueberries.
“We look forward to coupling Ashlee’s understanding of category management with our talented team of supply chain experts as the company continues to expand,” said Nutrano executive chairman Tony Mahoney, adding Kilmartin’s knowledge and energy would be an asset to the group.
“I am thrilled to join the vibrant team and assist in developing strategies to drive category growth for core product lines,” said Kilmartin.
Nutrano was formed earlier this year after acquiring Oakville’s banana division, and most recently Seven Fields and Abbotsleigh Citrus. It’s now core lines include bananas, tomatoes, citrus, berries, avocados and mangoes.
