Winter edition to be distributed at Australasia’s leading horticultural event
Hort Connections delegates can grab a free copy of Produce Plus Winter.
This edition includes a full preview of the three-day event (5-7 June), taking place at the Adelaide Convention Centre. There are articles on a number of exhibitors, plus information on the speaker programme, networking events and the 2023 Horticulture Awards for Excellence.
One of the major awards is the IFPA-Produce Plus Marketer of the Year Award (MOYA), sponsored by Seeka. The Winter edition has information on the three finalists for this year’s award, plus the Finalists Showcase, which takes place on 6 June (11am-12noon) on the trade show floor.
Melbourne-based Result Group is one of the Hort Connections exhibitors featured in the Winter edition. In our cover-story interview, Result Group general manager Michael Dossor discusses the company’s culture of packaging innovation and collaboration. This forms part of our feature on Packaging & Grading within the Australasian fresh produce industry.
The Winter edition also looks at the growing role technology is playing in the sector. Premier Fresh Australia’s Frank Frappa tells readers how Escavox’s supply chain monitoring technology is helping his company protect the quality of its premium brands. Meanwhile, it’s been a busy 12 months for New Zealand-based Radford’s Software, which has onboarded a number of new customers on both sides of the Tasman Sea.
As the weather cools down, Produce Plus takes a look at some of the fresh produce products coming into season, including citrus and kiwifruit.
We also bring you the NielsenIQ-Produce Plus Top 20 Products, your guide to the top trending fresh fruit and vegetable lines in the Australian market over the past 12 months. Spoiler alert – there’s a change at the top!
Free copies of this jam-packed edition will be available next to the Hort Connections registration desk at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Digital copies of the magazine will also be available for free, for a limited time, via the Produce Plus app. The digital edition will go live early next week.
