Gavin Simkin has joined the leadership team at Freshmax Australia as operations and logistics manager.
Simkin will be responsible forelevating the company’s health and safety agenda and driving efficiency across the supply chain pan-category. He will also take a leadership role in the company’s third-party services offering.
“Two weeks in and I’ve been very impressed with the level of professionalism across the business” Simkin said. “I’m really excited about the opportunities to motivate, inspire and ensure we have a happy, safe and successful work environment.”
With a broad range of logistics experience covering almost two decades, Simkin has been working in the fresh produce industry for almost 10 years.He most recently served as business manager - operations at Costa Group.
