Citrus Australia has announced the departure of David Daniels, general manager of market development, after 12.5 years of service to the Australian citrus industry.
During his tenure, Daniels played a pivotal role in expanding market opportunities, strengthening international trade relationships, and advocating for Australian citrus both locally and globally.
His leadership and expertise have significantly contributed to the growth and success of the industry, ensuring that Australian citrus remains a key player in global markets.
Citrus Australia chief executive Nathan Hancock said he was extremely grateful for Daniels’ contributions over the years.
“David’s commitment, vision, and passion for the industry have been truly invaluable,” Hancock said. “His efforts in market development have helped shape the strong position our citrus sector enjoys today.
“We sincerely thank him for his years of service and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Daniels said he was saddened to be leaving Citrus Australia but that after so many years in the role it was time for the next chapter.
