More than 3,000 entries cover ag-tech, growing techniques, business development and consumer insights

Ausveg has launched a new online resource collating a wealth of productivity-enhancing R&D information in one easily accessible place for growers.

The peak industry body’s Knowledge Hub – housed on the Ausveg website – hosts more than 3,000 pieces of levy-funded R&D project information, resources and research.

Covering everything from agtech, biosecurity, soil health, irrigation, business development, to consumer insights and much more, the Knowledge Hub is home to nearly 1,700 R&D project overviews, over 1,100 project reports, more than 400 fact sheets, and hundreds of articles, videos, case studies and podcasts.

“By consolidating relevant and valuable information into a single platform, the Knowledge Hub gives growers a new tool to make informed decisions, address challenges, and adopt innovative practices to benefit their businesses, using key R&D resources that their levies have funded,” said Ausveg national manager – communications, Andrew MacDonald.

The development of the Knowledge Hub and communication of vegetable industry R&D information is an output of the Vegetable industry communications project funded by Hort Innovation using the vegetable research and development levy and funds from the Australian Government. Communication of onion industry R&D information is an output of the project Australian onion industry communications funded by Hort Innovation using the onion industry research and development levy, and funds from the Australian government.
