Vice president of marketing Rochelle Bohm says Barkley will fuel her training with “the very best tasting apples, pears, and cherries”
CMI Orchards has sponsored CrossFit coach and athlete, Sarah Barkley, as she prepares for the 2025 CrossFit Games.
Barkley, who manages key sales accounts at CMI Orchards, has previously competed in the 2024 CrossFit Games and has now embarked on her 2025 campaign.
With CMI Orchards’ support Barkley aims to qualify for the 2025 Games, compete at the CrossFit Open from 27 February to 17 March and advance to the Semifinals 3-6 where the top 2 per cent in each age group compete.
“My personal goal is to push myself to be the best athlete I can be and inspire others to realise they are capable of far more than they ever imagined,” Barkley said. “When I started CrossFit at 40, I never intended to compete. Over the years, my passion evolved, and I became obsessed with improving physically, mentally, and emotionally. One quote that guides me: ‘A ship is safe in the harbour, but that’s not what ships are for.’”
Rochelle Bohm, CMI Orchard’s vice president of marketing, emphasised the sponsorship’s natural fit.
“Sarah is a strong, talented team member who sets sky-high challenges for herself in everything she pursues. We are excited to support her journey as she competes at the highest level in the CrossFit games,” she said. “And of course, Sarah will fuel her workouts with the very best tasting apples, pears, and cherries, grown right here in Washington State.”
Barkley will showcase CMI produce across her social media platforms as she prepared for the 2025 CrossFit Games.
