The supervisory board of ZON Holding, the parent company of Dutch fresh produce group ZON Fruit & Vegetables, has confirmed the appointment of Hans List as the division's new commercial director.
Mr List, who joins chief executive Frans van Dijck and property director Jan Janssen on the ZON Holding board, is due to take over from his predecessor Annemieke Rijke on 1 February 2011.
According to a statement published by the group, he will focus on further developing the commercial activities of ZON Fruit & Vegetables.
Mr List has more than 50 years' experience of working in the fresh produce trade, offering the group extensive knowledge of marketing such products to international markets and dealing with manufacturers, retailers and foodservice operators.
