Free-to-attend event features forecast for the 2023/24 Northern Hemisphere season and discussion on impact of climate change
The World Citrus Organisation, in collaboration with Fruitnet Media International, will host an online event for the global citrus community to present the estimates for the 2023/24 Northern Hemisphere production season on Wednesday, 15 November at 16:00-18:30 CET (UTC+1).
Besides the presentation of WCO’s Northern Hemisphere forecast and a discussion on market trends, the theme of the event will be ‘The impact of climate change on the citrus sector’. By bringing together different actors from across the global citrus community and experts, WCO said it aimed to deliver an interesting meeting from which all participants will be able to draw lessons.
“Join us next month for an in-depth presentation, analysis, and discussion of the latest trends in the sector and the way in which the sector can adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change,” WCO said.
More information on the agenda and guest speakers will follow shortly.
