Lucas Vos will step down from his role as Maersk Line’s chief commercial officer.
Vos also announced he is leaving his position as a member of Maersk Line’s liner management board, effective 1 May 2013.
The Dutchman has been a member of Maersk Line’s top management team since 2008, serving as the company’s chief process officer before taking up the position of CCO in 2012.
“He (Vos) has been an integral part of turning the company around with the ambitious streamLINE programme and lately contributed to the plan of making Maersk Line the most profitable player in the industry,” Maersk Line chief executive officer Søren Skou said.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank Lucas for his efforts and the good collaboration.
“We are sad to see him go and wish him best of luck.”
The process to find Vos’ replacement is already underway.
