VLAM makes new appointment

VLAM, Flanders’ Agricultural Marketing Board, has announced the appointment of Sofie Lambrecht as its new product manager for fruit and vegetables.

Ms Lambrecht, who replaces Evy de Troch in this role, has two Masters degrees, in Political Sciences and Multilingual Business Communications, both from the University of Gent in Belgium.

Prior to joining VLAM, she spent two years as product manager for Belgium’s largest IT distributor, handling major international suppliers such as Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Toshiba.

According to VLAM, Ms Lambrecht will be present at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, where the organisation will command a communal stand for 16 Belgian export companies.
