Fresh Logistics service provider Varekamp Coldstores Holland, part of the Kloosterboer Group, has announced that it has achieved IFS Higher Level Logistics and BRC Storage & Distribution certification.
These certificates, received in mid-March, denote proper safeguarding and guarantee of legal food safety and traceability requirements.
Following its relaunch as part of the Kloosterboer Group in September 2013, the company has been focused on bringing quality assurance back up to standard as quickly as possible.
Internally, all processes and procedures have been revisited and established with the team, after which DNV was able to carry out its audits. With the achieved certification, customers can proceed with even greater confidence in Varekamp for their fresh produce logistics.
