With shipments now concluded, the company looks back on a challenging but positive campaign

Vanguard International exported 2,110 containers of Peruvian table grapes during the 2024/25 season, 16 per cent more than in the previous campaign.

Alejandro Cabrera, the company’s assistant manager of export logistics, said harvesting and packing concluded in the middle of this month, with the last container being shipped last week and wrapping up the cycle.

According to Cabrera, the shipment volume marked a new record for the company, with shipments reaching 17 markets worldwide. This was in spite of the significant challenges faced by the sector in recent months.

“This is precisely the perfect time to thank and recognise everyone who has made it possible to achieve these results: the people who make up the export logistics, shipping and finished product team, and the transportation monitoring teams,” he said.

“Of course, we must also make special mention of all the stakeholders outside the organisation, whose work and support enabled us to achieve this result: logistics operators, shipping companies, forwarders, Senasa, Provid, and various suppliers who supported us throughout the season. This result is also thanks to you,” Cabrera noted.
