US-based fresh produce grower-market-distributor Vanguard International has announced new roles to supports its growing global sales.
Tim Clarke will take on the role of VP global sales, where he will oversee all sales from the US, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, as well as manage the US sales team.
Dan Lillybridge has been appointed director of procurement, responsible for Vanguard’s procurement activities in North America, South Africa and New Zealand, with all US inspectors reporting to Lillybridge.
“We are excited to announce these staffing promotions as they better align and maximise our internal skill sets while supporting our global growth goals and celebrating our team’s success as leaders in their field,” said Craig Stauffer, CEO of Vanguard International, in a company statement released 29 August.
Vanguard International was established in 1991 and has since expanded to supply quality-assured fresh food and vegetables year-round to Asia and the Middle East, with offices in Chile, China, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Peru, Spain, Taiwan, South Africa and the US.
