Netherlands-based importer Citrus World is to be fully integrated into Dutch fresh produce marketer Valstar Holland, part of the Best Fresh Group.
Sales and administration activities at the company, which was already a Best Fresh Group subsidiary, will now come under the directorship of Valstar Holland, it was confirmed.
The takeover is expected to take effect from the beginning of July, Citrus World's Bram Verbaas said.
As well as citrus, the company is active in sourcing other fruits, including pineapples, grapes and apples.
