Spanish fresh produce association Coexphal has announced that its secretary, Uwe Schwießelmann, has left the company to pursue other opportunities in the country’s fruit and vegetable industry.
In a statement, Mr Schwießelmann said he was leaving the Almería-based association to move to Malaga to “look for a new professional challenge” in the fresh fruit and vegetables business.
Mr Schwießelmann said the decision to depart from Coexphal had been made for “exclusively private reasons”, adding that he looked forward to working with the sector, in some capacity, in the future.
