Belgium-based fresh produce giant Univeg has announced the appointment of Frederic Rosseneu as business development manager, reporting to CEO Francis Kint.
Rosseneu is an agronomist, with a specialisation in soil and water management and holds a Master's in General Management from the Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
For four years he worked as a policy officer at the Flemish Ministry of Agriculture, followed by eight years at Freshfel Europe, the European Fresh Produce Association.
In recent years he has equally taken on the role of general delegate at the European Potato Trade Association.
On the appointment, Francis Kint commented: 'We are very happy to have Frederic Rosseneu as part of our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge on key issues to our business, such as EU policies, as well as a profound knowledge of the fresh produce industry.'
