Christel Teyssèdre has been named as the new president of the UNFD, France's national greengrocers association, replacing Francis Van der Elst, according to a report in Fld.
Her stated aim is to 'rapidly reform the governance of our union' and to ensure that 'the voice of the UNFD is better heard' by the government.
Teyssèdre also said that she wished to strengthen links with partners in the fruit and vegetable sector, particularly producers and wholesalers.
