Prepared vegetable specialist Bonduelle has enjoyed a strong start to fiscal 2013/14, reporting on turnover growth of 4.4 per cent at constant exchange rates to €451.7m, up from €448.4m last year.
The French company said that its Europe Zone operations enjoyed turnover growth of 3.1 per cent, up to €303.7m, the result of favourable base effects and the success of innovations in the canned and frozen segments.
Non-Europe one results saw turnover up 7.2 per cent to €148m, with a sales recovery in Canada and a sales increase in the US, as well as dynamic activity in Russia and Brazil.
