New York-based importer AJ Trucco has reportedly established a deal with Chilean exporter Prize to bring fruit to the US market under the WOW Wonderfruits brand.
The WOW-branded fruit will be grown and packed in Chile by Prize exclusively for Trucco, according to a report by The Perishable News.
Kiwifruit is the first fruit to be shipped and distributed under the WOW brand, with the first containers already in the process of distribution to various destinations across the US.
Trucco is also this year sourcing figs from Chile under a new supply programme with a local supplier.
