In his new role he will drive the company’s international citrus programme growth
Tony Harmon has joined the Vanguard Group international team as senior account manager. Vanguard said he brings a wealth of experience in citrus sales, imports, and a strong background across multiple fresh produce categories.
Harmon will lead the development and growth of the company’s imported citrus programme in North America, working in collaboration with its sourcing teams in Chile and South Africa.
He will also support the sales of Vanguard’s full product portfolio arriving to North America, including both owned and third-party grape volumes, along with its emerging cherry line.
“Over the past 15 months, Tony was part of a startup dedicated to building a citrus programme. We’re thrilled he saw Vanguard Group International as the right place to grow his career and contribute to a broader vision,” the company said.
