Belgian food sorting specialist Tomra has announced the launch of a Russian language version of its website, providing a dynamic online resource for its customers throughout Russia.
The launch demonstrates the importance of the region to Tomra’s global strategy, with the website specifically tailored to the requirements for Russia’s food sorting industry.
The site showcases Tomra’s product innovations, as well as highlighting the latest news at the company and offering product brochures for downloading.
Marketing manager Björn Weyts commented: “The launch of the Russian language site provides a valuable update to the wide range of international resources that Tomra offers, as well as highlighting our ongoing commitment to servicing customers across the world and our continuous focus on innovation.”
Alongside the launch of the Russian language website, Tomra has also unveiled a newvideo platformfeaturing over 200 videos, allowing users to browse, share and embed videos produced by Tomra.
“The functionality of the platforms provides users with the fantastic option to be notified when new content is added to the platform, as well as being able to pick and choose topics that are of a particular interest, ensuring users receive relevant and up-to-date information,” said Weyts.
Tomra’s latest investment illustrates the continued importance of the Russian market for European technology companies, despite the continued ban on food imports.
