Scandinavian retailer ICA has reported on net sales growth of 2.1 per cent for the third quarter of the year, rising to SEK24bn (€2.65bn).
The Ahold-owned retailer said that operating income excluding capital gains and impairments increased by 1.4 per cent to SEK947m (€105m), Planet Retail revealed.
An impairment of goodwill at ICA Norway, based on the company's new business plan, negatively affected the group's income, it said.
Operating income reached SEK330m (€36.5m), while net loss for the quarter came in at SEK2m (€0.2m).
