UK supermarket group Tesco has revealed a number of changes to its board, with eight appointments made ahead of the arrival of new UK chief executive officer Richard Brasher.
According to Reuters, a Tesco statement said that current Tesco Hungary head Per Bank is to become new commercial director for food, while online retailing chief Laura Wade-Gery will become commercial director for clothing, electronics and merchandise.
The new board members will report directly to Mr Brasher, who steps into his new role as UK CEO in March.
'I'm very pleased to have such a strong team to run the UK business,' said Mr Brasher in the group statement.
