Ireland-based fresh produce company Keelings has announced the departure of Terry Watts (pictured) as managing director of Keelings (UK).
Keelings said that Mr Watts would continue to work with the company in an advisory capacity over the next six months, in particular with Steven Fagg, who has been appointed as business unit director of the UK subsidiary.
In a statement, the company’s UK group managing director, William Keeling, said that following the sale of his remaining shares in Keelings and after creating a managerial succession plan for his planned departure, Mr Watts stepped down from his post on 29 June.
Mr Keeling said: “During the 10 years that Terry has been with Keelings, he has presided over a growth in the company into new categories and sectors which has been the envy of our rivals.
“For this, and his commitment to his staff and boundless energy, Keelings are sincerely thankful. We wish Terry every success and happiness in the future.”
