Target

Over 55 Target stores in the Chicago area have been redesigned to further deliver one-stop shopping convenience for guests, featuring a new open-market grocery layout stocked with a selection of fresh produce, meat and baked goods.

According to the group, the increased fresh food section is designed to make fill-in shopping quick and easy for guests on-the-go, with each store offering s range of both national food brands and Target private label brands.

'At Target we pride ourselves in our ability to respond to the needs and wants of our guests,' said Annette Miller, senior vice-president of merchandising for Target. 'Our guests have clearly stated that they want more food options in their local Target stores. These new design reinventions are one of the many ways we are evolving our store to deliver one-stop shopping and convenience for our guests.'

Target is celebrating the arrival of fresh food at its Chicago stores by hosting a grocery giveaway event on 21-22 October.
