The International Strawberry Congress, which takes place on 1-3 September 2010 in Antwerp, Belgium, has this week launched its official website, marking the start of registrations for the event.
Hosted by Veiling Hoogstraten and Veiling Zundert, the congress will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp under the title 'Research & sustainable production leading to successful marketing'.
Focusing on the development, production and marketing of strawberries, with sustainability a central theme, the event will also feature trips to Hoogstraten in Belgium and Zundert in the Netherlands.
'We want this congress to be a platform for networking and information sharing with regard to strawberry research, production and marketing on the fresh produce market,' the events organisers said in a statement.
