STK (Stockton), a leader in the development and marketing of botanical-based food protection solutions, has announced the appointment of Bertrand Desbrosses as vice president of business development and portfolio management.
In his new role, Desbrosses will be responsible for leading STK’s global business development efforts, developing the company’s strategic commercial vision, introducing new products to market and cultivating partnerships and industry relationships.
“In doing so, he will identify and leverage new opportunities and multinational collaborative business development initiatives focused on the long-term growth of STK technologies,” the company stated.
CEO Guy Elitzur said that the timing was right given the business’s growth in food protection.
“Bertrand is a unique thinker who has the ability to evaluate complex relations and markets,” he said. “His experience, insights and global perspective align well with the rapid changes and new direction of our company.”
Desbrosses is an agricultural engineer from the Istom Tropical Agricultural Institute in France, holding an MSc in crop storage and processing from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK, and an executive MBA in finance and market strategy from EMLyon Business School in France.
