Damco has announced the appointment of Stephen Knight as the new chief commercial officer for the UK and Ireland.
Knight joined Damco at the beginning of July, having previously been employed by Maersk Group for over 20 years, and he comes to Damco from Safmarine where he has been global head of sales based in Copenhagen.
“I am very happy to be joining the strong and well established Damco team in the UK and Ireland and excited by the opportunities we have to further develop and grow the business by building strong relationships with our existing and future customers”, said Knight.
