The British Leafy Salads Association (BLSA) has revealed some of the speakers that will address delegates at its sixth annual conference, which takes place in Peterborough, England on 14 November 2012.
According to BLSA, Dr Ana Allende of CEBAS-CSIC in Spain will update the UK on safety issues in leafy greens, while James Walton, chief economist at IGD, will talk about economic and social changes and their impacts on the food and drink markets.
Meanwhile, Bauke van Lenteren, flavour and convenience manager of Rijk Zwaan will update delegates on the global leafy salad market.
Delegates at the conference will range from growers and marketing specialists to technical personnel and produce buyers.
