'We believe thatSirane's products will help revolutionise how we package our fresh produce in this country, he added. 'From extensive shelf life benefits, to improving the taste and presentation of our food products, the initial response to Sirane's products has been incredibly encouraging, and we are immensely excited with the future prospects of the Sirane Southern Africa and our business journey.'
Simon Balderson, Sirane's managing director, said: 'Our international trade is rapidly expanding, and there is tremendous scope for increasing business in Southern Africa. After months of work, we are delighted to finally be open for business in Southern Africa and look forward to seeing Stacey establishing Sirane there.'
The new operation will help make it easier for customers to order Sirane products, as the company will have dealt with all the region’s import regulations.
