Following the commercial launch of labelling specialist Sinclair’s Print on Demand technology, the group is introducing another innovation in the shape of Sinclair TruTab, the first and only tabbed label for direct thermal variable print applications.
Sinclair demonstrated the new tabbed label, which enables consumers to remove a Print on Demand label quickly and easily and in one piece, at the CPMA show in Toronto last month.
“Our market research indicates that consumers prefer Sinclair tabbed labels because they are ‘quicker and easier’ to remove,” explained product manager Barry Lawson. “Sinclair Tab-Lift and TruTab fruit labels make it easy for children to remove the label, and they’re the preferred choice by a majority of parents.”
Sinclair introduced its Tab-Lift label over a decade ago and since then it’s become extremely popular particularly for commodities that have an edible skin.
Sinclair Systems manufactures food-safe produce labels that comply with FDA, EU and all other relevant legislation. Sinclair manufactures its labels from facilities located around the globe.
