A new venture involving CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd and Maruba is aiming to provide a comprehensive service for trade between northern Europe and the east coast of South America.
The service is a result of the combination of CMA CGM's Safran service and Hapag-Lloyd's Brazil Express line, and we be served by a total of six vessels with an average of 2,800 TEUs.
The new service's port rotation is Sepetiba, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Sepetiba/Rio de Janeiro (in alternation) and Salvador.
CMA CGM VIOLET was the first ship of the new service to visit the Port of Hamburg on 11 August, with the service also utilising the CMA CGM LILAC, the CAMELLIA, Hapag-Lloyd's CAPE MAHON and Maruba's MARUBA MAXIMA.
