Serrano Molto, a Spain-based fruit and vegetable marketer and distributor, has started exporting Valencian oranges to Dubai.
In a statement, the company said it was interested in expanding more widely into the Persian Gulf, targeting the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Serrano Molto was founded in Valencia in 1978, focusing on Spain and nearby European markets.
However, it has been exporting to Russia for several years and this season has also begun to do business with Brazil.
