Anuga, the bi-annual food event taking place in Cologne, Germany on 10-14 October, will see 25 Serbian food producers present their products to international buyers under the joint slogan of 'Serbia Naturally'.
Included in the selection of food on display will be an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, wild Serbian mushrooms and award-winning fruit juices.
The event is seen as an opportunity to further the growth in Serbia's food exports, which has increased exponentially in recent years following the rapid adoption and implementation of international quality and food safety standards.
Serbia's participation at Anuga is sponsored by the USAID Agribusiness Project and is supported by the Serbia Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency,
In 2007, the last time Anuga was held, nearly 6,800 exhibitors from 95 different countries displayed their products and services at the trade fair, viewed by 163,000 visitors from 174 countries.
