Georges Plassat, set to take over next month as CEO of French retailer Carrefour, has chosen to let two senior executives leave the company and will not be replacing them, according to La Tribune.
The two excecutives were named as chief commercial and marketing officer Jose Carlos Gonzalez-Hurtado, who is also a member of the executive board, and group marketing director Patrick Rouvillois.
When he takes over on 10 June, Plassat will be the third CEO in four years at the underperforming retail giant.
