Specialised reefer carrier Seatrade has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with global logistics company Hapag-Lloyd, commencing with a Slot Charter Agreement covering the East Coast of North America to Europe.
Through its affiliated company, StreamLines, Seatrade is offering weekly services for reefer cargo by container, from the ports of Savannah, Charleston and Norfolk into London, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven and Le Havre.
“Through this cooperation agreement with Hapag-Lloyd, we will continue to provide US reefer cargo shippers and European receivers with the highest quality of service and customer care together with fast transit times and first-class equipment,” Seatrade revealed. “The agreement allows us to expand port options and provide multiple vessel calls weekly, giving shippers even more frequency and flexibility.”
Seatrade and StreamLines are industry experts in perishables transport, with nearly 70 years of experience in the field.
“Our network of agents shares this dedication to reefer cargo and respect for what’s inside the box,” the company stated. “At Seatrade and at StreamLines, we breathe cold air.”
