In-line with the company’s ongoing growth strategy, Seald Sweet International has announced in a statement the appointment of Ron Wynn in a move designed to bring new talent to the team’s West Coast office.
At the end of 2009, Mr Wynn joined Seald Sweet’s operations in Visalia, California, as the group’s new general manager of west coast sales and operations. In his new position, Mr Wynn will oversee the company’s citrus and deciduous fruit sales divisions.
A former vice-president of sales with Ballantine Produce (in Reedley California), Mr Wynn joins Seald Sweet with nearly 30 years of sales and marketing experience and extensive tenure in the produce industry.
“We are excited to have Ron joining our team and look forward to the success and opportunities he will bring to Seald Sweet through his experience in the industry,” said Mayda Sotomayor, CEO of Seald Sweet. “We feel Ron will be instrumental in the further expansion of our west coast operations.”
Mr Wynn’s appointment will continue to strengthen the company’s overall position in the US as well as with Univeg, Seald Sweet’s Belgium-based parent company and one of the top five-largest produce companies in the world.
