Seald Sweet, the Florida-based group owned by fresh produce giant Univeg, has this week revealed that it has appointed David Brocksmith as its new account executive for the sales team.
The appointment, effective from August, is part of the move to further grow and develop its sales programmes, the group noted.
Brocksmith brings over 20 years' experience in the fresh produce industry with him to Seald Sweet, during a career that has seen him develop Florida citrus programmes with key accounts.
'We are excited to welcome new talent to our team and look forward to the success and opportunities David will bring to Seald Sweet through his experience in the industry,' said Mayda Sotomayor, CEO of Seald Sweet. 'We feel David will be instrumental in the further development of our sales programs.'
Seal Sweet said that the move continued to strengthen the company's overall position in the US and with Belgium-based Univeg.
