Branded packs of citrus, mangoes, avocados, tomatoes and berriese will feature motifs from Disney’s new film

SanLucar will invite consumers to ‘Dive into the fun with sweet fruits’ as part of its latest tie-up with Disney. Available in stores in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Poland and Sweden from next month, the promotional packs of branded citrus, mangoes, avocados, tomatoes and berries will feature motifs from Disney’s new Vaiana 2 film.

“We have been working with Disney for years to inspire children and young people to eat healthily and lead an active lifestyle. With Disney Stories on social media, at the POS, in adverts and on packaging, we create emotional engagement and motivate them to make healthier choices,” said Nuria Pizan, brand and creative director at SanLucar.

As well as providing point-of-sale materials, SanLucar’s sales consultants will advise retailers in designing eye-catching secondary and block placements.

Dominik Wehner, commercial director of SanLucar Germany, commented: “We know that secondary placements with Disney generate an average of 90 per cent more sales and SanLucar block placements up to 40 per cent more sales. Our fruit experts are happy to help create emotional secondary and block placements with added value”.

As part of the Vaiana 2 promotion, shoppers will also have the opportunity to take part in an online raffle, accessible via a QR code, for a trip to Valencia for four people. This will include visits to the fields of SanLucar’s master grower Llusar to learn about their cultivation methods.
