Labelling leader Sinclair Systems International has emphasised its commitment to food safety by announcing the appointment of Elizabeth Correia as its new food safety manager.
Based in the corporate office in Fresno, California, Correia joins Sinclair to further increase the company’s commitment to food safety protocols and practices.
According to Sinclair, the integration of a certified food safety specialist is a “natural fit”, as the labeller has “always been at the forefront of upholding high standards for compliance and product performance”.
Further developing Sinclair’s food-safe manufacturing practices and operations is seen as a top priority, and indeed a passion, for Correia, who is HACCP, Internal Auditor and pcqi certified.
Collaborating closely with both customers and suppliers is another way that the group ensures that its products, processes and documentation are compliant, up-to-date and readily available to its customers.
In addition to overseeing the food safety aspect of multiple labelling products and applications, Correia is also implementing a comprehensive programme to meet what is an ever-changing environment of legislative requirements relating to strict global food safety standards.
“I am fortunate to have joined such a respected company that has a passion for excellence and prides itself on upholding the most stringent food safety standards,” says Correia. “It is a comfort and an asset that Sinclair can provide its customers with the necessary assurance and that we work with our customer base in a supportive, consultative way.”
Sinclair operates in over 40 countries across the globe, manufacturing food-safe labels and equipment systems for the international fresh fruit and vegetable industry that complete with all relevant food legislation.
