With continually increasing volume and expanded product lines it easy to understand why Russet Potato Exchange (RPE) has announced the expansion of its sales department with the addition of Chris Sobczak to the position of account manager.

With over 23 years of experience in the produce industry, Mr Sobczak is no stranger to the business and has both sales and retail experience – most recently working the sales desk for Spud City Sales and previously an employee of both Wal-Mart and Copps.

“In deciding to come to work for RPE, I was impressed by their focus on year round supplies and the need to be a category captain with a commitment on execution,” said Mr Sobczak in a company press release. “Now on board, I continue to be impressed by their emphasis on expansion and innovation that allows me to continue to bring value to our customers.”
