El Corte Ingles has revealed its results for the fiscal year ended 28 February 2013, with sales and net profit both falling.
The Spanish multi-format retailer saw net sales fall 7.8 per cent year-on-year to €14.6bn, while net profit dropped 18.3 per cent to €171.5m, Planet Retail reported.
The group's Hipercor hypermarket division saw sales down 7.7 per cent to €2.2bn, with its department store division registering sales of €1.9bn, sliding 11.7 per cent.
