Harvestmark

YottaMark, the provider of the HarvestMark fresh food traceability and supply chain insights platform, has announced the appointment of Reggie Griffin to its advisory board.

The board was created in 2005 to engage the best talent in the industry to inform product development, market strategy, and help bring unique and valuable solutions to the fresh food supply chain.

Griffin joins the YottaMark advisory board from The Kroger Company, where he held the position of corporate vice-president of produce and floral merchandising and procurement, until his retirement in 2011.

During his time with Kroger, Griffin led strategy, sourcing, and merchandising for one of the largest and most profitable departments for Kroger, helping the company become the largest traditional grocer in the US.

Griffin has also supported the produce industry in many leadership roles including the chairman of the Produce for Better Health Foundation, past president of the Houston Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association, chairman of the United Fresh Produce Association and a board member of the Produce Marketing Association.

“As a HarvestMark customer, I’ve experienced the benefits that HarvestMark provides to retailers,” said Griffin.

“I’m excited to help guide the team in continuing to deliver solutions that help companies sell more, waste less, and build shopper loyalty.”

'Reggie brings unparalleled insight into the retail and fresh food industry to our Advisory Board,” added J. Scott Carr, president and CEO of YottaMark.

“As a retail industry leader, his endorsement is powerful, and he will continue to help us bring innovative, impactful solutions to our retail and fresh food customers.”
