Re:fresh, the fresh produce industry's annual conference, will be held on Thursday 19 May this year at the Intercontinental London Park Lane.
Defra minister James Paice is among the speakers and will discuss the government's views on the future of the sector.
Jan Matthews, who is responsible for the food strategy of next year's London Olympics, will also speak at the event.
Other participants in the debate include Nigel Harris of Fresh Direct and Bevington Salads' Gary Marshall, who is also chairman of the New Covent Garden Market Tenants Association.
Nigel Jenney, chief executive of the conference's organiser, Fresh Produce Consortium, said: 'A variety of radical views will set the scene for lively panel debates.'
Fresh Produce Consortium is the UK's trade association for the fresh produce and cut flower industry, and is organising the event in conjunction with trade magazine Fresh Produce Journal.
